Collaborative Divorce Vancouver Society (“CDV") was delighted to team up with Forrest (“Woody”) Mosten in January 2021 to offer a unique webinar training (six hours total) aimed at providing innovative tools and solutions to approach Collaborative Practice through the Unbundled Lens.

The CDV is now pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for more people to learn from Woody, by making a rebroadcast of the webinar available for those who were unable to attend the live training.

During this unprecedented time, many of us have been forced to shift our practices and to find new ways to engage with clients and our colleagues. How do we do this while committing to Big "C" Collaborative practice? How else can we support families?

Woody, who has been internationally recognized as the father of the concept of Unbundled Legal Services, will guide you through navigating the above questions in this rebroadcast. During the six-hour webinar, Woody covered the following topics:

  • The Self-Representation Revolution; Overview of Consumer-Oriented Method of Lawyering to Increase Legal Access; Making Your Office Classroom of Client Education
  • Adding Unbundling to Peacemaking: Using An Unbundled Approach to Enhance Your Collaborative Practice
  • Special guest lawyer Amy Skogerson, co-founder of the Law Shop in Des Moines, Iowa, presented on Building a Profitable Unbundled Peacemaking Practice
  • Monitoring, Modifying and Terminating Limited Scope, including a discussion of how to deal with various scenarios related to Unbundling and the Collaborative Process
  • Unbundled Collaborative Coaching and Consulting with Interdisciplinary Professionals within the Mediation Process; Utilization of the Disqualification Clause in Mediation
  • Successful Replicable Models of Unbundling
  • Watch Out and Screen for Red Flag Clients
  • Woody understands the Collaborative Process, Mediation and Unbundled Services, having years of experience with each and having co-authored books on each of those topics for the American Bar Association. Get to know more about Woody on his website. (http://www.mostenmediation.com/bio.html).

The CDV hopes this course will help all consensual dispute resolution professionals learn about the possibilities of the Collaborative process. For that reason, we are making the rebroadcast available to everyone for just $175 USD (approx. $225 Canadian). Please help us spread the word.
