Introduction:

Candice is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and the founder of Birch Counselling. She holds a Masters of Education in Counselling, Bachelor Degree in Arts, and Bachelor Degree in Education. Candice has clinical training in Expressive Play Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Over the past ten years, Candice has worked with children, teenagers, young adults, and parents.

As a Child Specialist, she provides children of separation and divorce with emotional support and a voice in the collaborative process. Candice provides parents, children, and youth with strategies, tools, and information aimed at enhancing resiliency. Her nurturing, caring, and play-based approach provides a safe therapeutic environment for children and youth. It is within the context of this environment that they develop the confidence and trust to share.

Candice is devoted to helping children and youth. She is passionate about helping them to manage their emotions, build coping skills, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
