Introduction:

Dr. Deb Cehak is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's degree in Counselling, a doctorate in Psychology specializing in adolescence, additional training in PTSD and mediation, and works with individuals and families as a narrative therapist, Divorce Coach, and Child and Youth Specialist. 

Deb believes in collaboration, curiosity, and respect. Part of Deb's practice looks at how the stories we tell create meaning in our lives as well as the contexts in which our problems are created, including but not limited to: age, sexuality, gender, class, ethnicity, and cultural ideas around marriage, separation, and divorce. Deb works with relationships of all types and sizes: intimate partnerships, siblings, families, and more. Within the context of separation and divorce, the transition from an intimate partnership to a co-parenting relationship is a significant adjustment. Deb supports the navigation of this transition for individuals, co-parents, and families, from initial decision-making through long term relationships. Dr. Cehak is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver team and works in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
