Introduction:

I have been in clinical practice for over 20 years and have been helping individuals, couples, and families make their lives and relationships better.  It continues to be a privilege to walk with people through challenging spots in their life and witness them getting their lives back on track through our therapeutic conversations and through their own supported actions.  I know in my bones that change is possible.  

As someone who has gone through my own separation, I also know first hand how disappointing, devastating, and embarrassing it can be to end a marriage.  That being said, the end can be handled in a way that is fair, kind, and that keeps your values at the centre as you navigate a stressful chapter in life.

The collaborative process is for couples who want to figure out a way of disentangling their lives without the unnecessary expense of a combative legal process.  The collaborative team is here to support each of you in creating agreements that address the issues that arise in separation whether that be legal, financial, or co-parenting concerns.  There is a lot to sort through and you don’t have to face this challenging process alone.

Over the years, I have worked with a lot of youth who have been on the frontlines of a messy divorce process and it doesn’t need to look or feel combative.  The way a divorce is handled is way more negatively impactful on children than the end itself.  If you have children, you can model to your kids how to end a relationship well which will help protect them from future struggles.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a certificate in conflict resolution from the Justice Institute of BC.  I work virtually throughout the Province of BC and have my own private practice office in Vancouver.
