Introduction:

I am a family and fertility lawyer as well as a family law mediator and collaborative divorce practitioner. I practice exclusively in the areas of family and fertility law and have represented clients at provincial court, supreme court, and the Court of Appeal. In addition to my family law practice, I am fortunate to work with families in the areas of reproductive technology, adoption, and parentage (including polyamorous and multi-parent families).

I am committed to helping my clients transition through life's major changes (marriage, separation, family building) by providing thoughtful and savvy counsel in a safe and empathetic environment. I believe that the collaborative process offers a unique space that allows families to truly resolve their matters as they go through the difficult process of separation and divorce. I am a regular presenter on family and fertility law matters at seminars hosted by the CBA, CLEBC, TLABC, PBLI, and CFAS. I am the current co-chair, and the founding chair of the CBABC fertility law subsection. I am also an active member of her communities and has served on a number of boards and organizations including the City of Vancouver 2SLGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee and was the former board chair of Out on Screen. I am a member of Fertility Law BC, CBA, FACL and TLABC. She recently served on the Parentage Law Reform Committee through the BC Law Institute.

I was called to the bar in 2008. After spending a few years in the criminal bar, I have been practicing exclusively in the family law since 2013.
