Service Description

Have you thought about using a collaborative lawyer for your divorce? Are you unsure of the process and have some questions? Do you wonder if collaborative divorce is as effective? Is a collaborative divorce the right choice for you? About Gordon Kopelow: Gordon was born and raised in Vancouver and has been practicing Family Law in British Columbia since my call to the Bar. After many years of litigating family matters at all levels of the Canadian court system, He strongly believes that the non-court Collaborative approach can bring significant benefits to the parties and their families. It allows for individuals to play a far greater role in their settlement and assists people in building or maintaining lines of communication which should benefit the entire family. Gordon is qualified as a Family Law Mediator. He has been an Instructor with the Professional Legal Training Course for lawyers and lectured with the Law Courts Education Society. He is a founding member of the Vancouver Collaborative Group and has successfully worked with most of the members of our group over the past 20 years that I have been specializing in Collaborative cases.
